Blow and kiss acrylic pour 

WALT negative space acrylic pour using a blow and kiss technique.  This is my negative space blow and kiss acrylic pour, its fun and easy to make. 

These are the materials that you need to make this:

• canvas or wooden board

• Acrylic paint

• Straws

• Balloons

• Cup

First you have to get a canvas or a wooden board, then cover your board in white paint.

Pick your colours next and put them in some cups pour your colours over the board in one of the corners.

Next get your straw and blow the paint out but don’t blow it all over the canvas because its a negative space pour. 

After you’ve blowed the paint over the canvas blow your balloon up and dap it in some places on the canvas. Then your done.

Logic maths puzzle

 w.a.l.t: think outside the box.

Today for maths our teacher showed us this maths puzzle which we had to copy without touching it. 

It was very confusing at first until he showed us how to make it. All you need is paper and scissors then you fold a piece of paper in half length ways, then on one half of the paper cut to slits around seven centimetres a part then on the other half of the paper cut a slit in the paper in the middle of the to slits on the other side, then you have to twist it around somehow until you get it to look like this.

 Can you figure out how to make it? 

 

Pointillism apple

W.A.L.T: draw a pointillism apple.
This is my apple that I drew at school.
resorces: a pencil,rubber and colouring pencils.
How to draw a pointillism apple:
First draw a apple with a leaf and a stalk. Next go round the edge of apple in dots with a red pencil and then colour the stalk in with brown dots and colour the leaf in as well with green dots.
Then draw some more dots on the apple with your red apple.
Then your done.

This is my drawing of an optical illusion triangle.
resources: paper,pencil and rubber.
What I did: 

1.  I Watched a video on youtube    2. Next I drew it lightly in pencil.  3.Then when I thought it looked good I went over the lines in darker pencil.     4. Next I shaded the triangle in.

I think that next time I should try and draw it faster. But I think that the shading is good.

This is a rose that I drew when my Teacher was reading a book to us.
I saw a drawing of this rose on google and I decided I wanted to draw it.

ginger beer syrup

This is a simple recipe that makes a delicious ginger syrup that you add to soda water and it taste exactly like ginger beer  here is the recipe to make the syrup.



ingredients
4 1/2 tablespoons  of ginger
1 cup of water
1 1/2 cups of sugar


1. Firstly peel a chunk of ginger then grate the ginger using a fine grater and measure out 4 1/2 tablespoons of ginger.

2. Next place the ginger in a medium size pot and measure out the sugar and the water and have the heat on medium then stir until the sugar has dissolved.
Then leave the syrup to infuse for an hour.

3. Strain the mixture (get rid of the ginger) and allow to cool.

4. To serve put 3 tablespoons to 4 depending on how strong you like it of ginger syrup in a glass and fill with soda water and enjoy.

On Monday  the second of December three classes from Oruaiti school including our class went too Action world in Paihia  this is a photo of someone on the trapeze .😀
At Action world there were slides,water slides, tight ropes,trapezes, climbing walls and mini golf.
I did everything except the mini golf  my favourite thing was the trapeze.

Last Thursday Mel from live wire media came to our class to talk to us about marketing and promotion this is what we learnt:
-you need to think about what your customers want 
-you need to think carefully about what your product is called
- when you make your ads you need to think about the language that you use so your consumers understand
-know your target market
-make sure you make your product original/unique
- research your competing market and find out what you have that is better than theirs

This is my flamingo art for pet day.
I  won first for the bird pictures, for the indoor section.
I like how its pink and I'm really happy with its result and how it turned out.

This is me and my twin sister i'm the twin on the right it was the night of the production we were fantails we were twins in the production to we had to speak at the same time the production was called Kia Kaha  Kiwi! it was about kiwi the main character was in the forest with her friends and she was telling us how hard it is to survive in the forest from predators i think the production was really cool but next time  we should speak louder.
